World Council of Churches Archives

WCC Archives provides archival resources on the history of ecumenism from its beginnings in the early 20th century to today to researchers, scholars of the Ecumenical Institute in Bossey and to staff members of the Ecumenical Centre.

It is the repository of the records of the World Council of Churches as well as of various other ecumenical organizations or movements and of personal papers of ecumenical personalities. The documents preserved consist of paper documents, photographs, sound tapes, films and videos, representing some 2,000 running meters.

The archivists take care and custody of the fonds, answer the various requests and receive researchers in the reading room on appointment.
